Center for Community Investment Climate program

Kory Hayden participated in the Center for Community Investment Climate program. Over the 15-month program, Kory learned strategies to direct investment toward climate and resiliency projects in Siskiyou County. She currently leads readiness for several reuse projects focused on energy efficiency, brownfield redevelopment, and main street reuse. Site control, clean-up, and reuse are unique needs of historic buildings in Siskiyou County’s commercial corridors. The pipeline was considered when developing the a formalized Climate Resiliency Plan for Siskiyou County and will be used in successful applications for funding.
